Welcome to Cedar Hills Dental Center!
We opened our family dental office November of
1986. It began with one patient chair, and a telephone. We
have steadily grown as our patients refer their
friends and family. We pride ourselves on making our practice not just
a place where you will feel comfortable - our patients often say they
enjoy coming to the dentist - but also a place where you know your
health and the health of your loved ones is our top priority. We

Our Updated Office
Visit us at our newly remodeled location at 10976 Cedar Lake
Road. We are in the same building where we started, just a
larger space. You will notice the friendly, courteous and
welcoming atmosphere as soon as you open the door. It is
important to us that you feel at ease, like you would when you know you
are in good hands. Our reception area is designed to be open, yet
allow you privacy when discussing your needs and information with our
staff.
Our Treatment Areas
All five of our patient treatment areas have the latest in
dental technology, which helps our team provide you with the best
possible dental care. Digital x-rays and the intraoral camera
allow us a more detailed look at your teeth. The patient viewing
monitor allows Dr. Wagnild and Dr. Akers to show you a clear picture of
your mouth and the status of your treatment. Pairing that with
our expertise, attention to detail and caring concern allows us to
provide you with the utmost in quality dental care for your oral and
general health.

participate and attend continuing education programs, which allows

It is also an honor to be part of
a caring community. Part of our commitment to our community has
always been involvement. We annually participate in Give Kids A
Smile Day, where we provide free dental care to young children and
students in need.
We have coached various athletic teams and continue to be proud
sponsors of community youth activities and sports.
Our Services
We are a general dental practice and are able to provide
treatment for all your concerns and needs. These services might
include routine hygiene, bleaching, fillings, relieving pain, or just
some cosmetic changes you have in mind. We have excellent
referral specialists when the need arises. Whether you are
interested in maintaining your smile, whitening your teeth or improving
how they look, we can help. Dr. Wagnild and Dr. Akers will
discuss all
your treatment options as well as the costs associated with those
treatments.
Using Local Dental Laboratories
We value and use only trusted local, professional dental laboratories. Any treatment, such a crown, bridge, implant
covering, veneer or denture will be made by local dental
technicians. These dental specialists have been providing the
highest quality crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures for over 20
years. None of our work is sent out of the United States.
Your dental care is an extension of our efforts and we will make
it the best available. Ask us your questions, we look forward to

Insurance / Payment Options
We participate in most insurance plans as out-of-network
providers. We are a Delta Dental Premier provider. We
accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.
We will assist you in processing all insurance claims. At
your appointment, we will discuss your treatment as well as your
payment. A payment will be requested at each appointment to help
assist you with your dental care costs.
